Concept Boards
First concept that was explored was a singular pod unit type of luminaire design. Suspended light by a thin strand of wire. Allows the light to be illuminated in a revolved 360 dimensional sense. Capsule can be accessed via a push and twist method of unlocking to maintain and replace any of the T5 tubes.
Second concept board explores a completely different shape. Is mounted on the roof or wall and has aluminium or perspex sliding panels to access internals of the unit. The shape is unique and can be incorporated well into the emerging new and innovative interior design spaces of this era.
The third concept is a basic luminaire design with a twist. Manufactured by brushed aluminium this concept can be adapted to many design spaces or needed lighting facilities global wide. Side on the the light has a stylish shape which has not really been developed at a design level. The tubes can be replaced via popping out the bottom casing / perspex screen. The luminaire is made at a suitable size to allow users to navigate and replace parts easily.
Styleboards
